I got a text claiming it was from HSBC saying a payment try was made from a NEW DEVIE on 21/06 at 14:09. It told me to check out a link if it wasn’t me. Instead of tapping the link on my phone, I wrote the address myself into my browser. Then the site popped up a warning: Deceptive site ahead. It said people behind hsbc.security-validate[###] might trick you into giving away stuff like passwords, phone numbers, or bank details, or even get you to download harmful software. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else gets this - be careful!

Got a msg supposedly from HSBC about a payment try and a link to click on. Total scam, no doubt about it. Just blocked the number straight away.
