Got a call from someone claiming to be with Car Phone Warehouse, total rubbish. Just blocked the number straight away and carried on with my day.

some guy with an asian accent called me saying “you qualify for a boiler grant” and I’m like “nah I ain’t got a boiler” then he goes “ok how about a roofing grant” and I say “I don’t got a roof either” and then he just hangs up on me. pretty sure these grants he was talking about are totally fake, just like the number he called from!

They rang me but didn’t bother to leave any message. After seeing the reviews here, I’ve just gone ahead and blocked the number.

I saw a number I didn’t recognise so I just let it ring. They didn’t bother leaving any voicemail either.

There was a bit of a pause before he started talking, which made me suspicious. The voice sounded Asian, but I couldn't quite catch the words. Pretty sure it was just another scam call.
