This number’s almost identical to mine. I have no clue how they fake it, but they said they were from some fraud department about my national insurance number being involved in a scam. I was suspicious right off the bat, but pressed 1 just to see what would happen. An Indian bloke picked up and immediately wanted my NI number. I told him, “Have any of your relatives passed away yet, you miserable wretch?” Then he went on and called ME a motherf****r before hanging up on me.
