They just gave our phone a quick ring to check if it was active. Thanks to what others have shared already, this one’s getting blocked. Telecom companies everywhere are now saying they have no way to prevent number spoofing where a real number gets stuck into some system and then shows up as the caller no matter who’s actually calling.

About a year ago I kept getting calls from these so-called 'Local Oven Cleaners', but thankfully it’s been quiet since then. Didn’t pick up their call today, and no voicemail was left either. One time I actually pressed the button to get them to call back - they did, but wouldn’t say which company they were from. When I told them I hadn’t asked for a callback, they just hung up in a sulk. Definite scammers - if they were legit, they’d be open about who they are.
