Got a call from someone claiming they were from HMRC, threatening me with some legal stuff if I didn't respond. I had a gut feeling it was dodgy, so I ignored their request to “press 1” to speak with an officer. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Today, they called me twice from separate numbers but I didn’t pick up either time and no voicemail was left.

It was just dead silence before the call ended in about 3 seconds. Looks like a scam or some dodgy spam.
