Got a call claiming to be from HMRC about a refund. They put me through to someone who said it was a PPI refund they'd received to give me. Then they passed me on again before the line dropped. Later, they called back from 01583409124 asking why I ended the call. When I asked which department at HMRC they were from, they just hung up. HMRC don’t call out of the blue, so I knew it was a scam straight away.
