Some bloke from abroad rang me up claiming to be George. He said there was a problem with my internet and told me to open Google on my phone. I told him straight away it sounded dodgy, but he kept pushing for me to do it. I ended the call before it got any further. No idea what he was trying to pull but it definitely felt like a scam. Really watch out for calls like this, they’re sketchy.

Got a call from a guy who had a weird accent, said his name was George. He told me something was wrong with my internet and told me to get my phone and open Google. I told him straight away that it sounded like a scam, but he kept pushing and said it wasn’t. I just hung up on him. Honestly, I have no clue what he was planning, since I didn’t go along with it. Just be careful with these kinds of calls, they’re dodgy for sure.
