Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be HMRC, sounded American, saying a legal notice was sent back and now they’ll begin legal action. They asked me to press a button to talk to an advisor but I just hung up, reported it and blocked the number. HMRC never contacts you like this, it’s just a scare trick to make people panic and maybe get scammed out of their money!
