Definitely a scam. Someone pretending to be from Three offered to lower my bill. I nearly got tricked until they asked for my full card details to 'avoid double charging.' I told them to ring me up next month instead. He promised to return the call from an 0333 number, which he actually did. While waiting, I looked up both numbers and found out it was a con. The 0333 number, 03333031383, called me back five times in under a minute.

So this guy called saying he was Justin from EE, sounded like he had a heavy Indian accent. He started on about lowering my contract and asked if I knew how much I was paying. I told him if he really was from EE, he’d know already. Then I found out my network is actually Three, so I told him no thanks and ended the call. Not falling for that one today!
