There's been a rise in annoying calls recently, with dodgy folks faking the Caller ID - they call it "Spoofing," which is illegal here in the UK. But of course, if they’re running their scam from a call centre in India or Pakistan, nobody seems to care. The number they show looks like a UK mobile or sometimes a landline, just to trick you into picking up. When I tried looking that number up here, it showed as if it had never been checked before. So suspicious! Proper sneaky bunch they are!
