Got a call earlier today from someone with a really thick accent. They said they were from BT and insisted my VPN was being exploited by others. They tried to get me to do stuff over the phone, but I told them to send me something in writing instead. Right after that, they just cut off. This isn’t the first time either, I’ve had three or four calls like this from different numbers. Definitely looks like a scam to me. I actually had a BT engineer over for something unrelated and he made it clear BT wouldn’t ever contact me like this.
