Got a recorded message from some computer voice saying I’ve been charged £39.99 for Amazon Prime. It told me to press 1 if I want to cancel or speak to someone. From what I’ve heard, if you do press 1, you end up talking to a scammer who claims there’s a security issue with your computer. They then try to get remote access to “sort it out” but actually steal your bank details and saved passwords. Amazon never calls out of the blue like this. So, don’t ever press 1, no matter what they say!
