Got a call saying they were from housing doing a survey, but it felt off and I reckon it's a scam. My housing association would never ring me up for something like that, ever. What's weird is the person seemed to know my name and details about repairs, which made me suspicious. After I spoke to the housing people, they confirmed they weren’t behind the call. So I’ve blocked the number - people need to stop bothering us like this!

Got a call from someone pretending to be interested in my landlord, obviously a scam. Just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call supposedly from the local council’s housing team, asking about mould and damp issues. Turned out it wasn’t from them at all! The number was hidden, so I just blocked it. Definitely a scam!

Received a dodgy call pretending to be my landlord asking if I’m satisfied with their service (I actually own the place). Bit of a giveaway it was a scam, so I blocked the number straight away. Oddly, I’d just installed an app called In Your Area, a local news thing, and after checking its cookies, I deleted it. Then, a couple hours later, this number rings me on my mobile, then again on my landline - they stayed silent on the landline and just hung up. Strange how they managed to get hold of both my numbers so quick!
