I received a call instructing me to hit 1 to connect with the officer looking into my national insurance number. They asserted they were from the police. It’s undoubtedly a cunning scam! Whatever you do, don’t divulge your NI details!

Got a message on my answermachine from some automated call saying it was the police. They warned me about my phone and National Insurance number and that I'd have trouble unless I talked to “the investigating officer.” Sounds like one of those scam calls to me.
