Got a text saying there was a charge on my credit card and to reply yes or no if I made it. Didn’t respond at all, just went ahead and blocked the number. Took a look at my card app and there was no sign of any charge.

Forget what I said before about that text saying a charge was on my credit card. I only just saw a message from my card provider saying they’d send me a text, and the number wasn’t saved in my contacts. Turns out, 07883315862 is legit and actually belongs to a well-known credit card company. So no worries there.

Received a message from 07883315862 warning me to watch out for a call from Lloyds Bank regarding my credit card, even included the last four numbers right. Shortly after, I got another text saying I'd missed a call and there was a voicemail. When I listened, it was a robotic female voice claiming it was Lloyds Bank telling me about a £59.99 charge for an Apple purchase. I quickly logged into my online banking and nothing like that had gone through.
