Just like the person who posted nearly a year ago, I got nothing flagged in my online banking messages. Feels like it’s some kinda scam to me.

I had an issue where a company attempted to charge me twice which ended up freezing my account. So, I rang my bank using their official number I already had, and they confirmed it was the fraud department of Lloyds handling the situation.

I called my credit card company immediately after getting txt, having just made an amazon marketplace transaction (txt from this number had the transaction time, amount and last 4 digits of the card correct). The card company were unworried and claimed it was legitimate.

Like some folks here mentioned, I got a couple of texts from 'my bank' saying a £1.00 payment was declined, which I definitely didn’t try to make. They wanted me to reply yes or no, but I just didn’t bother. Then I got a robo call supposedly from the bank’s fraud department telling me to ring them back. I didn’t call either. What freaked me out was they actually had my full name and the last four numbers of my card.

I got a text saying it was from my bank, asking me to confirm a payment that supposedly didn’t go through. After that, I got a call as well. Feels dodgy to me, looks like a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the bank's fraud team, sounded a bit dodgy. They said my payment was blocked, but that didn’t seem to be true when I checked later. They never asked for any card details, which made me wonder if it was a scam or not. Really not convinced it was legit.
