I received a phone call from this number purporting to be from EE, enticing me with a fantastic offer for a mobile contract. After expressing interest, they proceeded to request my card information, which I foolishly provided. Upon later reaching out to EE for clarification about the call and to see if I had any accounts pending, they assured me that there was no such account-it was most likely a fraudulent attempt. I then contacted my bank to alert them of the situation, and they took the necessary steps. It's worth noting, they did come across as quite credible and articulate, with accents that hinted at an Asian background.
