There was an awful lot of racket in the background; it felt like I was chatting to someone in a busy call centre.

I got a phone call from this number earlier today, purporting to be from a housing management team. However, the caller didn’t mention which specific housing association they were affiliated with and began inquiring about any pending repairs we might have. Curiously, they didn’t bother to ask for our address to back up their inquiries. Since we don’t reside in any kind of council property, it all seemed rather dodgy, especially with the caller's thick Indian accent, which only heightened my suspicions.

Someone rang me saying they were from some housing management group, but they never actually told me which housing association. They wanted to talk about some repairs I supposedly needed, but strangely, they didn’t ask for my address at all. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be with the 'Housing Disrepair Line'. I didn't wait for her to go on and just ended the call straight away. Definitely sounded like a scam to me! Blocked the number instantly!
