Just got a call from someone pretending to be my phone company, sounded like a total scam to me. Be careful, they wanted personal info right off the bat.

This number has called me loads of times, I finally picked up today but they ended up just hanging the phone up.

Sounds like one of those phishing calls to me - they ring you, hope you answer, and then just cut off. Pretty typical move to flag your number as active so scammers can swoop in.

i picked up the phone and there was complete silence on the other end, no one said a word.

They rang me up a couple of times today. The second time I picked up but as soon as I said hello, they just dropped the call. Strange behaviour, honestly.

Some woman picked up and told me I was being sued. I just hung up straight away because I figured it was a scam.
