Got a text claiming to be from “Lloyds Bank” telling me I’d get a message about a recent transaction. The number then sent another message asking me to reply yes or no to confirm, warning that my card would be blocked if I didn’t. I contacted Lloyds directly and they said this number isn’t one of theirs, and warned me not to respond or share any personal info.

I got a message about some weird activity on my credit card, told them no I've not done anything, then got a phone call from 033 045 9520. Did a quick search and loads of people said it looked dodgy, so i didn't pick up and just blocked the number straight away.

The caller spoke English, which surprised me since I was expecting something different, so I didn't just hang up straight away. The call was about some suspicious use of my credit card. I didn't share any details but told them I’d visit the bank to sort it out myself - something I plan to do. After that, the guy kept ringing and texting me. I’ve already reported the number.
