Someone rang me pretending to be from HMRC and used the number 07882336040, but it was a different phone.

They called claiming to be from BT, saying my landline and internet would be cut off because of some “suspicious activity.” Then they told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk to their manager or whatever. I just ended the call right away!
