As soon as I picked up, the person on the other end just hung up. Seeing what others have said about this number being linked to banking scams, I'd say it's definitely best to avoid it. Quite dodgy, if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be my bank, saying there were some dodgy transactions on my account - one for £199 and another one over £800, both to Amazon. They asked me to press 1 if I recognised them or 2 to talk to an advisor. I didn’t press any buttons. Later I looked on my online banking and there was nothing weird at all. Definitely a scam!
