Got a text supposedly from HMRC saying I’d overpaid tax. The form they sent seemed proper, but it’s definitely a scam! Be careful!

I got a text rather than a phone call. Some bloke pretending to be from HMRC said I had paid too much tax and was offering a refund. The message was full of spelling mistakes, totally dodgy. There was a link in the message too, but I didn't click on it. In the end, I just blocked the number. Total scam, watch out!
