I got a message saying that a Mrs K Adams has been added as a payee on my account through mobile banking, but I never did this. It told me to get in touch with Halifax at payeerequest[###] if it wasn’t me. I don’t know who Mrs Adams is and I don’t even have an account with Halifax.

Just got a heads up from Halifax saying there’s a new payee added after a legit bank transfer. Seems a bit off, so watch out if you get something similar!
