I've just received the same message word for word. Decided to ring them back using a number that's hidden, and they had a voicemail set up. We ended up leaving quite a firm message, letting them know what we really thought and that if any further issues arose, we'd escalate the matter to the local authorities as it certainly smells like a scam. I'm curious to see how things unfold from here. By the way, does anyone know how these types of individuals manage to acquire phone numbers in the first place?

I received a text from this number claiming I'm owed £3,750 for an accident I supposedly had. Honestly, I've never been involved in any accidents-thank goodness! It's just complete rubbish, isn't it?

I've just received the exact same message! So, I decided to ring them using a blocked number. Naturally, they had a voicemail set up, so we left a rather polite message directing them to take a hike. We also let them know that if we receive any further nonsense from them, we’ll be reporting it to the local constabulary for fraud. I'm quite curious to see how this unfolds. By the way, I wonder how these dodgy characters even acquire phone numbers in the first place?
