Got a call that sounded like one of those automated warnings about unpaid taxes or something along those lines. I decided to just end the call. Definitely felt like a scam to me. It might just be a coincidence, but I’ve recently been setting up a new bank account. Could be that’s how they got hold of my number?

Someone called me claiming to be from a crime investigation team, asking for my National Insurance number. When I told them I wasn’t okay with sharing that info, they just ended the call straight away.

The call said it was from my bank, but it never actually said which bank, which really made me suspicious. Banks wouldn’t just ring you like that without being clear, and honestly, if it was genuine, they’d tell you straight up which bank it was. Totally felt like a scam to me.

They keep ringing me every single day for some kind of household survey. I've told them to take my number off their list loads of times, but they just carry on calling from different numbers. Had to block them in the end.

I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who knew my name and said he had some "household" questions for me. When I asked where he found my details, he claimed I'd filled out a survey online. Thing is, I've never done any online surveys in my life. So, I just ended the call.
