Some bloke called claiming he was with BT, said my landline used for the internet was being abused by a bunch of people doing dodgy stuff like money laundering and drugs! He said there was a police officer on the line too, but when I asked to talk to him, no one came forward. I told the guy straight up he was a conman and ended the call. Could easily trick someone who’s more vulnerable though.
