My nan (she's 80) got a call from someone pretending to be BT. They said there was some dodgy activity on our phone line and that they’d be disconnecting us soon. Poor mum was left absolutely stressed out. We should be protected with number security, but these scammers just never stop ringing. Honestly, this year has been terrible with all these calls. They really need to outlaw telemarketing and stop people having access to phone number lists.

This number just rang me, but when I picked up, there was absolutely nothing on the other end. I gave it a ring back but was told the number couldn’t be found. Very strange!
