Complete scam! When I called them out, they just laughed it off, bragging how well off they are and saying they’re not feeling the pinch of the cost of living at all. Apparently, they've just splashed out on a brand new Mercedes Benz - all because nobody's bothered to stop their scams. The Police suggested I make a post on social media to warn others and ask folks to share it around. They reckon if enough people do this, more will know what sort of scams to watch out for. The cops also told me these scammers have swiped hundreds of thousands of pounds just last month! Absolutely shocking.

Got a text saying it was from HSBC, telling me someone was trying to add a new payee to my bank account. Sounded a bit dodgy to me!
