Oh blimey, this fake recruitment offer has been around so long, it even got covered by the national papers ages ago. "Fantastic work from home with flexible shifts!" they say. Pays really well too. They want a thorough CV first. Then, you’re hired. Next up: your bank and National Insurance info for payments. They’ll ask for a fee upfront to start. Plus, they send software you need to install on your computer. What a laugh! Supposedly, you’ve got to send texts to numbers like 8726 or call 7726 for more info. Absolute nonsense.

Got a call from what sounded like an automated voice, claiming to be from Human Resources. They told me to add the number on WhatsApp but the message kicked off so fast I didn't catch the beginning properly. I didn’t end up adding it to WhatsApp because I wasn't entirely sure if it was genuine or not.
