This is the second time today I’ve got a call with a recorded message like that. Different number now, so I reckon it’s spoofed again. The message goes something like “Hello, this is security from your bank. There have been a couple of transactions on your account blah blah.” Not once do they say the actual bank’s name, just “the bank” which is a bit dodgy. Plus, they don’t even say who they’re trying to reach. Honestly, it’s just a joke. Still, it’s pretty annoying, and I bet for someone on their own who’s vulnerable, it could honestly cause a lot of stress.
