I got a call about renewing my Amazon Prime yearly subscription for £79. Something felt off so I hung up and tried calling the number back. As I thought, it went straight to a message saying the number was wrong and to try again. Then I contacted Amazon directly and they confirmed they hadn’t called me and that my monthly subscription was fine. Luckily I checked because I was about to be charged for something I never agreed to. They apologised and sorted out a refund for me, which was a relief!
