SCAM ALERT - Got a message supposedly from O2 saying my bank couldn’t process my last bill payment. It asked me to update my details at some dodgy link like [#]O2-update.billing092[###]?o2=2. I’m not even an O2 customer, and the website looked totally fake. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call from 07879 685435 back on 15 July 2020. There was this Asian bloke who claimed he could sort out loads of debt I supposedly had, like credit cards and catalogue stuff. When I said I don’t even have any credit cards or catalogues and asked him to take my details off their system, he then had the cheek to ask me if I’d do him a favour - asking if I’d give him a blow job! Proper weird and inappropriate!

What really baffles me is how they manage to get hold of your number in the first place. Feels like even the so-called legit firms are involved in some shady arrangements just to earn a bit more cash on the side.

Got a couple calls earlier today from someone saying they were from a credit investigation team about a loan I supposedly hadn’t paid. I told them I didn’t owe anything on a loan, then they switched to saying it was about a credit card. Asked which company and they had no clue. Told them I’m all paid up and they kept asking if I was sure. After I confirmed, they just hung up on me. The line was glitchy too. They tried ringing me again about 15 minutes later but I just blocked the number. Pretty clear scam trying to freak me out by pretending to be from some investigation group!

Got a call from this number just now, but the connection was awful and I couldn't catch a word. Told them the line was terrible, but then the person started yelling at me quite rudely over the phone. I didn't bother staying on and ended up hanging up. So far, they haven’t tried ringing me again.

Got a call from this number yesterday about some insurance check, linked it to the coronavirus situation. The guy said if I skipped the review, my insurance wouldn’t cover any virus-related claims. He had my postcode, name, and email which felt a bit off. Tried asking him a few questions but he dodged them and just said no payout would happen, then hung up. Watch out for 07879 685435, seems dodgy.

Someone rang claiming to be from Canada Life insurance. I said I'd just get in touch with them directly to sort things out. Then he told me to **** off, calling me stupid. Honestly, I hope he never catches corona because I'd be taking care of him then. I bet he'd still tell me to **** off!

I got a call from someone saying they were from Aviva, saying they needed to check up on my life insurance because of the Coronavirus situation. They asked me for my DOB to “verify” me, but I didn’t give it. Oddly, they mentioned a monthly payment amount that I only told to another annoying caller a few weeks ago, so I knew straight away it wasn’t really Aviva. I told them to just send any info through the post, but I’m pretty sure I’ll never get anything in the mail from them!

Got a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from my life insurance folks, said it was the Beagles St helpline. Told them that wasn’t my insurance company, but they kept insisting I was with them. Then, they rattled off my house number and postcode like they really knew me. I told them that wasn’t my place, and then they just hung up on me.

They asked how much I owed and when I said they should know since they’re looking into my records, they just hung up on me. I’m actually looking forward to them ringing again. I’m more than ready to play their game back.

Got a call from some bailiff firm, I think it was called “Mores” or maybe “Moors” Ltd. They claimed I’ve missed some payments and made me sound like a really bad debtor, which isn’t true at all. Then they threatened to turn up at my place in a couple of hours before just ending the call on me. Pretty stressful stuff!
