I got a call from this number on my cell a while back, and it was one of those automated messages claiming I owed taxes to HMRC. The voice sounded like a fake American robot rather than a real person. They kept saying I was 'wanted' for missing tax payments, which felt really over the top - like somehow the police were after me or something. Not sure if just picking up an automated call like this can somehow mess up your phone with viruses, but I haven’t noticed anything weird yet. Still seems like a nasty sort of scam and pretty intimidating, really.
