They kicked off with "hello dear," which immediately set off alarm bells for me. Then the call came from some random mobile number and the bloke claimed he was from O2 - another huge red flag. Plus, he didn’t know my name at all, which was a bit sus. Whenever O2 rings me, their real name always shows up on my phone, so yeah, this definitely wasn’t legit.
