Got another scam call from an Indian call centre - saw two odd charges on my credit card, one for £199 to Amazon and another for £899 for some so-called international transfer. When I pressed 2, a guy who sounded Indian came on and tried to sound legit, but only for a few seconds. He said the call was recorded to put me at ease, but honestly, how is that supposed to help? He wanted me to tell him who I was, but I told him no way, he should already have my info since the automated call was supposedly just for me and had been passed on to him. After that, he just gave up and ended the call.
