Got a call from a robot voice threatening me with some legal tax letter and saying I had to reply or face legal trouble. Total load of rubbish meant to scare you into handing over personal details. They never even use your name or any personal stuff, just say you’re going to get a letter. Best thing is to just hang up and block the number right away. The tax office would never call you like this!

Got a random message wanting to start chatting, so I just reported it.

Got a message out of the blue saying, "Hey, can we talk for a sec?" with no clue who it was from. I wasn’t about to answer that without some sort of intro. Maybe I’d ring back if they said who they were, but this number's only popped up a handful of times in searches, so I’m not sure if it’s legit or something dodgy.
