Got a call from this number that said it was HMRC, sounded like some American lady telling me I was being chased for tax evasion or something. Seemed fishy so I hung up straight away and blocked the number. It showed up as +44 on my screen, so not even sure if it's from inside the UK. Just a heads up, HMRC won’t call you out of the blue like this - they always send letters first. Best to just ignore and not answer.
