Some bloke called claiming he was from the conduct authority, asking about some woman he mentioned. Sounded dodgy to me. He gave his name, but it was some weird, unfamiliar word that didn’t make any sense - seemed like he just made it up. Most likely just another scammer.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was from FCS, telling me there was a problem with my online trading account. Sounded like a foreign guy. Didn’t bother talking, just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent saying he was calling from trading standards about some problems with online trading. I've had some dodgy online companies bother me before, but I never reported anything, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't really trading standards. I did pick up but didn’t share any info with him. Fingers crossed I haven’t been caught out by a scam.
