The strange American terms and the unfamiliar number made me just end the call straight away, even before I bothered to look it up on this site.

Got a call from some muppet who sounded like he was from Yorkshire or somewhere similar, but couldn’t really make out what he was saying 'cause of all the noise like his knuckles scraping the floor or summat. Ended up reporting the number to the police just to be safe.
