Got a call this morning around 9:15 but no message was left. I looked it up and saw loads of folks saying the same thing. Honestly, seems like a total SCAM. Watch out, everyone!

I didn't pick up this particular call, but it showed up less than 20 minutes after I got a dodgy call from someone pretending to be a Microsoft tech support guy. I told them off pretty harshly, so maybe they tried ringing me back from a different number to have another go. You'd imagine after all this time they’d have a better scam, but nope. Plus, I've never understood why Microsoft would be bothered about problems on my PC in the first place.

Got a call today from someone claiming to be from an appliance insurance and saying there was an issue with my direct debit. Then they went on about giving me a refund of more than £100. Thing is, I don’t have any such insurance at all. I just told them it was a scam and ended the call straight away. Best just to ignore these lot and hang up.

I got a call from a bloke claiming to be with Virgin Media when I answered after my partner passed the phone to me. He said “hello,” but it was really quiet, like a call centre or something. Then the call just cut off. I had a feeling it might be dodgy, and checking the number here confirmed it was probably a scam.

I find it odd that when it comes to supposed VISA card fraud, the amounts nearly always come up as £900, even though you'd imagine they'd pick all sorts of sums if they were legit. On the flip side, those fake Amazon Prime renewal scams, which you'd think would keep the cost the same, actually fluctuate between like £79.99 and £100. It’s like these daft con artists just can’t help but slip up so obvious!

I picked up the phone and there was just silence for a bit before the call suddenly ended. I reckon these scam calls ring loads of phones at the same time, and as soon as someone answers, they hang up on the others. That would explain all those quiet calls I've been getting, wouldn’t it? 07876590477 Really thick Indian accent. This person tried saying there’s issues with my "BT Openreach internet." But we don’t even have BT for our broadband.

Some woman with an Asian accent first said it was a BT issue, then when I called back it was a Virgin internet problem. Total scam coming from Bangalore, India. Told her to shove it where the sun don’t shine.

Got a bloke called Mike saying he’s from Microsoft, launching into loads of tech jargon about a problem with my router! This is the third time in a week I've had a call from "Microsoft," each one from a different number (the previous two were landlines).

Received a call from a guy with quite a thick accent, had a tough time understanding what he was on about, something about getting a refund on my phone charges. I told him I was busy but he just kept urging me to listen and then started talking even quicker. It got worse so I just hung up, feels like a scam to me.

Got a call at 7:55am from someone claiming to be Microsoft. I told them straight away that Microsoft never phones people like that and it was obviously a scam. The bloke tried to argue but was clearly not legit. I've blocked the number now.
