THIS IS A SCAM CALLER. THEY CALL AFTER YOU HAVE HAD AN ACCIDENT LOGGED ON THE DATABASE & SUGGEST THEY ARE LINKED TO YOUR INSURANCE. THEY TRY TO GET YOU TO COMMIT TO A NO WIN NO FEE LEGAL SERVICE TO CLAIM AN INJURY PAY OUT (BUT THEN TAKE COMMISSION IF YOU WIN!). IF YOU HAVE A NON FAULT ACCIDENT, THERE WOULD BE NO REASON YOU'D NEED TO PAY A COMMISSION OUT TO ANYONE FOR AN INJURY AWARD!! THEY PUT THE PHONE DOWN WHEN I HIGHLIGHTED THIS AND ASKED FOR A CONTACT NUMBER FOR THE OFFICE SO I COULD VERIFY THIS WITH THE INSURER AND CALL BACK (TRIED TO GIVE ME A PERSONAL NUMBER FOR DIRECT CONTACT INSTEAD). THEY KNOW ALL YOUR DETAILS FROM THE ACCIDENT BECAUSE THEY CAN ACCESS THIS ON AN ACCIDENT DATABASE, HENCE HAVING YOUR CONTACT INFO, BUT THEY ARE NOT TIED TO YOUR INSURANCE AS THEY SUGGEST. DODGY! AVOID! BLOCK THIS NUMBER AND DONT GIVE ANY INFORMATION IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.

Sounds like a dodgy firm trying to take advantage of someone involved in a car accident. Shame really, they seem to be preying on people at their lowest.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the Road Traffic Accident dept, asking for photos and info about my crash. I got suspicious and checked with my insurance, who told me it wasn’t anything they required and didn’t know who these people were. So, I’ve just blocked the number now.
