They said they were from crime support and that my National Insurance had been frozen. It was just a voicemail so I hung up and blocked the number straight away.

My voicemail answered this call. The bloke on the other end started swearing up a storm, not knowing he’d gone straight to voicemail because he took too long to pick up. You can’t call this number back, but if I could, I’d give him a taste of his own medicine. Proper rude!

Just got a call from this number, bloke said he was from British Gas!!! I blocked him but now he’s calling me from another number, same guy!!!

Someone pretending to be British Gas called me. When I said I don't have an account with them, they switched to saying they were Scottish Power. The call came from an Asian call centre. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Lately ive been getting quite a few missed calls from numbers i dont know. If the number aint familiar i just let it ring out. Not even one voicemail left. Ive already blocked three of them.

Someone said they were from British Gas. I told them I didn’t have an account linked to that phone number, and they said they found my details in some public records. I told them they shouldn’t be ringing me asking for personal info, and the lady said I’d be getting another call soon. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got loads of calls from numbers that looked the same. I picked one up and it was dead quiet, so I asked if they were gonna say something, and they just said no, I'm not!!!

someone rang saying they were from british gas and already had my details, asked me to confirm them because there was some urgent message. i was suspicious tho and only said yes to what was right, didn’t give anything else out. after he quickly confirmed my info, he said id get another call soon with some deal for my utilities, then just hung up. sounds like a marketing scheme pretending to be urgent just to check your info before hitting you with sales calls.
