As no further details were provided, I can only conclude this was a scammer trying to pull a fast one. Definitely felt very dodgy!

However, they abruptly hung up, leaving me rather baffled. There's been no follow-up with same number calls, so I suspect it might just be some sort of scammer on the other end. Quite curious indeed, as no one has tried to get in touch with me since!
