I just had a rather curious experience. We received the same calls, yet there was never anyone on the line-just a cacophony of giggles from various callers. A number of them claimed to be representing "O2," but we had a hunch that was a ruse. After all, O2 typically requires you to verify your identity and personal details. I'd advise steering clear of these dodgy scammers-they're definitely up to no good!

I reckon these companies love to tout about "free mobile phones." We’re just a couple of blokes here with a bit of a Welsh twang. The lass on the other end didn’t seem to catch our name and assumed our contract expired just a couple of days after that call-quite off the mark, if you ask me! The only bit of info she seemed keen on was the name of our network provider, but even that didn’t shed much light on the situation. We made it clear we weren’t keen to chit-chat about our contract, being that it’s a private matter strictly between us and our provider. And just like that, she hung up! Quite the anticlimax, eh?

I received a call from this number the other day, and let me tell you, their accent was quite pronounced. It struck me as more reminiscent of somewhere in the subcontinent rather than anything Welsh. They claimed it was regarding our O2 contract, but we quickly informed them that we’re registered with the TPS and have zero tolerance for unsolicited calls. They stumbled through an apology, and honestly, it felt rather unprofessional on their part. It was quite a bizarre experience, really.

Firstly, I received a call from 01603909937 but there was no reply when I picked up. I tried to call back, but there was silence on the other end. Did a bit of digging online for 01603909937, and it turns out loads of folks have flagged it as a spam number (it’s from Norwich). Later that same evening, I missed a call from 07875211789 while I was busy with my squash match. When I returned the call, they just hung up without a word. A quick search for 07875211789 led me to similar complaints about these annoying callers. Next time they try to get in touch, I’ll make sure to give them a piece of my mind!

An establishment, though I can't quite recall its name, gave us a bell earlier. The operator spoke in a thick Welsh lilt, which made it a bit tricky to follow. They were inquiring about our phone contract. We mentioned that we've got another six weeks left, and apparently, these folks were offering a more affordable deal while promising to upgrade us immediately. They also claimed they’d cover any fees from our existing provider, which sounds dodgy to me. Their details supposedly came via Carphone Warehouse, but to be honest, we’re rather sceptical of their intentions, especially considering they’re reaching out on a mobile number!

The company touted itself as "Mobiles For Free". We ended up speaking to the same chap, complete with a Welsh lilt. Unfortunately, he didn’t seem to know who we were and mistakenly assumed our contract would be finishing in a couple of days, which was absolute nonsense. The sole detail he seemed to grasp was the name of our network provider, but that doesn’t really connect to the prefix, does it? We made it quite clear that we weren’t keen on discussing our contract since that’s a matter strictly between us and our provider. In the end, he hung up on us.
