Got a message from this number warning me about a weird sign-in attempt being stopped. It had a link with something like [#]gottaxletter[###] telling me to click to secure my account. I looked up the link on Google and found nothing, so it's obviously a scam. The message was signed as PayPal.

Got a random text out of the blue saying "Suspicious sign in attempt blocked." Then it told me to protect my account by clicking on a weird link with "gottaxletter" somewhere in the URL. It claimed to be from “Paypal.” As if! Totally dodgy.

Got a message about an “unsecure login” with PayPal, but the link they sent was totally fake. Definitely a scam, so don’t bother clicking or replying to it!
