Received a dodgy call regarding insulation for the loft.

Absolute con regarding loft insulation! They said I needed to renew some so-called "insulation certificate" - a complete fabrication. They pretended they had done the installation (which, by the way, they hadn’t). Then they made a ridiculous claim that the insulation is now deemed a "Class 2 carcinogen" - entirely untrue. I’ve since registered with TPS and CallSafe. They've been given the boot!

Beware of a loft insulation con that’s doing the rounds! They've been saying they've fitted insulation in your loft before and now they’re keen to come and check if you need more added.

Had a rather curious phone call from a chap named Brian over at Efficient Living. He inquired whether I recalled them topping up the insulation in my attic some time back. I replied that I did remember, albeit they hadn’t actually done it. Brian seemed a tad puzzled by my response. When I clarified that no one had ever come to enhance my loft insulation, he abruptly ended the call-might have even been his supervisor, for all I know. Just a friendly word of caution to keep your wits about you with this one!
