They rang me up thrice. Curious, I dialed the number back and a bloke answered, trying to pitch some free life insurance. Had a tough time catching everything since his accent was really thick Indian. I’m still not sure if it’s some dodgy scam or a genuine offer.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Scottish Widows, wanting to talk about my life insurance. Problem is, I don’t actually have any life insurance with them. Ended up blocking the number straight away.

They called knowing our names and where we lived, saying they needed to check if anything had changed for our life insurance. I slipped up and shared a bit of info by mistake. They said they'd be sending the policy details through the post and then just ended the call. They mentioned it was something that should happen every three years. Not sure they can actually do anything with what I told them though.

Some woman called me early this morning claiming to be from an insurance firm, but when I asked for the company name she wouldn’t say. I really can’t stand these unsolicited calls at such an ungodly hour. I’m gonna try blocking the number, but honestly, people doing this sort of thing ought to be locked up.
