2 yearsGot a call again from those scammers, bloody annoying!2 yearsWATCH OUT - These scammers have apparently got hold of info about folks with solar panels. They ring up trying to frighten you into setting up an appointment, claiming that the fuse in your fuse box, something about a '5V fuse', needs fixing. Such lowlifes, hitting up loads of different numbers. I've flagged them to the ICO and told my phone company, but they just keep ringing back.ICO2 yearsGot a call from 07874717782 on my landline but they didn’t leave any voicemail or message. Pretty annoying.2 yearsI got a call from this number which popped up as a withheld call. I didn’t pick up and let it ring to voicemail. But then, after a little while, my phone started making this awful noise and suddenly I wasn’t able to make or get any calls. Ended up having to have a technician come over to sort it out.2 yearsGot two calls today, the first one was from a private number claiming to be from EES, then just five minutes later this one, 07874717782, saying they were EMS. I didn’t bother chatting and just ended the call. These calls are so persistent and annoying - the more you talk, the more they keep ringing. I used to be polite and asked them to take me off their lists as per the TPS, but it’s pointless. Some even claim we had a previous conversation and agreed on a callback in a few months - which is rubbish. Best thing is to just hang up straight away!EESEMSTPS2 yearsI’m constantly bombarded by calls from this particular number that I definitely didn't ask for.2 yearsI received a call that claimed to be from EDF, attempting to peddle their solar panel offerings. I wasn’t keen on it at all.EDF2 yearsGot a call from a lady who used my name and said something about a safety check for fire. Didn’t really make sense to me cause I don’t have any solar panels or anything like that. So I just hung up thinking it was probably a scam.2 yearsGot a call from a number I didn’t recognise, so I just didn’t pick up.2 yearsLike others mentioned, I hadn't had my fire and safety gear inspected since it was first fitted, and the original firm had shut down ages ago. The guy claimed to be from EMS or maybe EML, but he kept his voice really low. He came across way too sure of himself. I just told him he was trying to scam me, told him to leave me alone, then hung up.EMS3 yearsGot yet another call claiming to be from EMS about some safety check. I blocked the number, but they just keep ringing back. Such a pain!EMS3 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were EMF ltd. The guy on the other end started talking about solar panels, and my 78-year-old mum didn't hold back at all. She told him straight, "If I want help or advice about our solar panels, I'll ring you myself, so do one!" and promptly ended the call. Well done, mum! If it had been me picking up, I probably wouldn't have been anywhere near as civil!3 yearsGot a call on 29/09/23 at 12:31 from EMF pushing services about solar panels.
