I got a call from an Asian lady who said she was calling on behalf of O2. She claimed my SIM would stop working in 24 hours. I told her to hang on for a sec, and she quickly ended the call. I’d actually had two calls like this last week from a similar woman, saying I needed to click a link she sent because O2 was switching from 4G to 5G and the link would sort a new SIM. It sounded dodgy to me. So I rang O2 myself, and they told me it was definitely a scam and my SIM was perfectly fine.
